Hello, I recently started playing wow again. I had forgot my password for the my old account so rerolled using a free account. Then I managed to dig out my WoW box set (Up to WotLK) with my user name and password in .Obviously I would like to avoid buying TBC & WotLK again if possible so I merged my old account with my new account thinking this would enable my new account with the expansions. Apparently not so. I would just like to ask what would be the best option, is there an option to transfer my new character to my old account or would it be easier to simply buy the the expansions again? Thanks, Anth.As long as both accounts are in your name (and I imagine they are), you can pay for a character transfer between two accounts. Login to Battle.net, click on the Account you wish to transfer off, then select "Character Transfer" and follow it through.
