Quest bug?


I was playing late last night, and got the quest in the Night Elf Storyline Recover the Fallen, I did everything the quest asked for. But, when I went to turn in, the NPC I need to speak to (Halannia) did not / has not appeared on my screen, a member of my guild came to meet me and could see the NPC.

He suggested that I finish off the Patch update, and see if it worked then.

Over night, I have allowed the WoW Updater to finish off downloading and updating my Client, and when I log in, there is still no NPC.

Im using a legitimate copy of WoW, and it is completely up to date.

Ive also just come across someone else having the same problem as me.

Please give these steps a try:

  • First, go into the key binding options and ensure that Interact with Target is bound to a key.
  • Now head up to the second floor where the NPC would usually be found, and type the following command:
      /target Halannia
  • This will target the NPC that you need to speak with. Now press the previously bound key and you should speak to Halannia.

My apologies for this issue. Our developers are working on a fix and we expect to have it implemented soon. I hope the above steps work in the meantime.
