| Does mail expire in your mailbox if not playing? |
|
I am trying to transfer a character from one of my accounts to this one, but I keep getting the error that mail is in the characters mailbox and cannot be transferred. Its a frozen account because I stopped paying a sub on it, so I cannot just go in and delete the mail. I know for a fact that it is just junk quest mail that I already read which has been left in there. Is that stuff ever going to expire or will I have to resub that account just to delete mail?Yes it will expire, all depends on when you actually read it. 30 days after youve opened up the mail.Good evening Grundged, As Gontier says, in-game mail will expire even while an account is frozen or inactive (although do bear in mind that NPC and system mails may have a longer timer on them than standard player-to-player mails do), so awaiting the expiration would theoretically be possible. There is another option you might want to consider though, and this would be to contact our either our in-game or Account support teams, inform them of the situation and explain that you’re currently unable to transfer the character until the mail is removed. You’ll need to be able to prove ownership of the other account in question, although I’d hope the two have matching details on them (and indeed will need these matching details in order for you to be able to move a character across), but as long as we’re sure you’re the original owner of both then I don’t see a problem with being able to resolve the issue for you here at our end. :) |
