| Exchange WoW Acc from B.Net1 to B.Net2? |
|
Hi, Ill first say: title might be a bit confusing, but apperently my titel was a bit to long :P So this is my "issue", i have more accounts linked to my battle.net but due to suspicious activity (receiving mails, phising sites, pw changes) i would like to seperate them. Meaning the following: B.Net1 has my info and 3 accounts B.Net2 has my info and NO account I own 2 Blizzard Store Authenticators, one for B.Net1 and one for B.Net2. Can i "transfer" an account from B.Net1 to B.Net2? Ive got 2 authenticators and want to make sure they both arent the same. I heared that even some people with an authenticator get hacked, thats why i take 2 incase my main would get hacked, ill lose everything :/ Can this be fixed when i contact Support/Billing? Hoping for blue-post to ^^ P.S.: This is not the suffering one Thx in advance! Grtz, You should indeed contact account and billingAuthenticators cannot be "hacked". A man in the middle attack is possible, but very difficult. As for the authenticator itself, it is basically a form of the RSA SecurID - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SecurID Unless somebody knows the serial code of your authenticator, they cannot hack your account. As they need physical access to your authenticator to get that code, it is also a pretty long shot they can manage to hack you this way.Thx for the replies :) Gonna contact Billing. @Degenerate, the issue is not mainly pointed at the authenticator, my email adres is also setup on my laptop of my dad, in Windows Live he always manages to read mine aswell. I just dont trust the phising mails and such, just wonna be 99% sure ;) |
