dont move this into proffesions as i want a response from blizz as they dont seem to bothered to post in proffesions orbs / enchanting mats / gems / the new orbs are fixed so only people with the skill can use them thats fine 750g a pop if you want something making thats before the mats. so everyone needs them gems only available from miners, or transmutation so held by 2 proffesions, 300g a gem. so everyone needs them enchanting mats everyone needs them and even if you dont have the skill you can use it. pretty unbalanced if peeps can roll on my mats why cant i roll on theres. why can i roll on orbs to keep prices down as the argument for disenchanting being open is to keep ah prices down i only want one reply and thats from blizz i have read enough of the stuff people post in proffesions. Youre posting on a public forum; you dont get to decide who can post or not. You cant roll on orbs because theyre bind on pickup - an orb in the hands of someone who cant use it for either of their professions is an orb that can never be used, ever. Enchanting mats never go soulbound, so in the hands of someone without enchanting they can be traded to an enchanter who can use them. The result would be that the price of an orb would go up, not down. Dont get me wrong, I agree that letting the group roll disenchant should be optional for each enchanter in the group, but that is not a particularly good argument for it.an orb in the hands of someone who cant use it for either of their professions is an orb that can never be used, ever. so remove the bop, this will allow everyone who has worked to get to the end of the dungeon to use it as a mat for there gear they want making. though im only here for response from blizz. i understand it a public forum but gms make you post here. if i could talk the issue through actualy ingame then i wouldnt have posted here I am afraid even the blues that post on this forum will not be able to agree or disagree with you. They merely provide support and information on how the game is currently. The profession forum is indeed the correct place to post suggestions for change regarding professions themselves. Although blizzard do not directly respond to suggestions, they do read them. For what its worth, these items (orbs) usually do have their BoP requirement removed once an expansion is well underway. The requirement is there at the start to ensure that those who have professions that require hard to obtain items get to use them first as they have spent time and money levelling the profession and indeed in some cases require them in order to max out their profession. The same restriction applied to Primal Nether when TBC was launched. |
