| Guild-recruitment spam out of trade! (Suggestion) |

Introduction: Alright. First off, Im on the RPPvP Defias Britherhood. They have a great community, but one of the things that makes my eyes tick, is the constant 8 lines wide guild recruitment spam going on in trade channel, making it impossible to sell anything in any other way than the AH. The problems: Well, atm there is no good way to make it known, that your guild is recruiting, along with what info you might have on your current guild and so on. Same goes for people LF a guild. Also, there seems to be no result to the "Report Spam" option in the chat box. (imo retardet. if you dont take this seriously Blizzard, please remove the option, instead of letting people believe they are making a difference.?) The Solution (suggestion): You should add another tab to the Micro Menu bar. This bar should be a way to recruit people for your guild and for your guild to recruit members. What it should be ment to do is this. There should be two tabs within the tab, one for the guilds looking for members and one for people LF a guild. The people LF a guild: Within the people tab, you would be sorted by class and level, kind of like you are in a current guild tab sorted by class. Next to your name, there should be a field allowing you to write a "paper" on your character, eg. spec, preferances to PvP or PvE, RP, even country and so on. Also it would allow RPers to type in some sort of biography or whatever. Something that would show what type of char you are, and let guilds pick you from this info. Also you would be able to specify what you preferances towards a guild would be, social, raiding or so on. The guild LF people: The tab for guilds should be kind of similar to the people one, but this one should be sorted by guild rank and name. There should also be a box allowing the guild officer or guildmaster to type in specifications like type of guild, PvP, PvE, RP, Social, country specific, Leveling or such. As well, there should be an option to write a biography for the guild and what classes the guild is currently looking for. Best bet would be this: [Name of Person or Guild] - [Small text box for typing pref. eg. PvP and RP] - [Button] The button would be a fold out field with a much larger textbox containing the info of a character or guild. Much like when you click a reputation line from the reputation tab allowing you to choose to show it as an xp bar. Last thing is, that these applications to the list should have the option of being active and inactive, so eg. a big guild who currently needs a DK tank can activate it, once they get that one person, they can deactivate it, which would make them hidden in the list, but able to reactivate next time they need a class or such. Small note regarding the Spam Report option: It seems very inaffective to report people for spam. a small suggestion here would be to introduce something little less thretening than a ban, but something that would make you reconsidder spamming a msg in eg. trade. Like say, 10-15 different people report you, you get silenced in the tradechat for 10-20 mins. Does it happen often enough, you might considder other and more harsh options like bans or whatever. Please keep the thread clean. Feel free to make comments. Regards //PhulBtw: especially for the guilds, there should be an option to add a web-adress, so that people will be able to go to that page and sign up for the guild, if the guild operates with that kind of sysstem.Its retarded.
