| Auction House and Gold Sellers |
|
Hello, In the last few days ive been noticing something unusual on my auctions posts. They keep getting undercuted by 1g by the same lvl1 even if I manage to stay all day logged in and keep cancelling&reposting my items. Ive have made an ingame ticket, altho, it keeps happening (with the same lvl1s). Ive identified them on the ticket also. This 2 lvl1 chars have made in about 2-3 days around 250k gold (on statistics -> character - wealth). Soo, does Blizzard really care about Gold Selling or are we getting any improve? How hard can it be to track mail/trade/bids/buyouts from those sellers? Just an idea: - Auction Houses have almost no use for a very low level at this time. Soo, what if the use of the Auction House had a minimum level of, lets say, 20. Gold Sellers would have to spend time to level a char on their new accounts soo they could sell anything. This would increase the window time between 2 accounts, giving more time to the Costumer Support to actually do something about it...A LOT of bank alts (ie: most) are level 1.Since there are Death Knights and I have 2 active accounts, I have made a DK as a bank alt (because of the fast mount), but before that I had a lvl 1 as Bank alt. I know many many others have so too. And since making gold, especially with the AH is so easy nowadays, I would not be surprised if those two lvl 1s you checked are normal bank alts. Which immediately shows why your suggestion (which is not the first time this idea was brought up) is not a good idea. A lot of players DO use the AH with low level characters and therefor raising the level for using the AH would be interfering with their game experience. That is why Blizzard will not implement that, or other level restrictions such as using the chat and trading. Not everybody that has or handles a lot of gold is a goldseller....I have a lvl1 bankchar (and created a guild to use the guild bank). Not everybody that has or handles a lot of gold is a goldseller.... I do know this. Altho, this 2 chars log very earlier and go offline at around midnight. Also, in the statistics u can see something like:
Gold earned from autions: 150.000 Most gold ever owned: 40.000 And then, they undercut it at anytime of the day few minutes after u repost (even if you repost&undercut multiple times after). Few hours after they trade each other and then they keep doing the same thing. Example: Player A posts 10 items. *few hours after* Player A trades with Player B. Player B posts 10 items. Having a lvl55 DK would mean u had paid for WotLK, this kind of chars usually use a flat vanilla account because its cheaper and disposal. Players that could/want to use a bankchar, can also quick level to lvl20 or get a DK. Anyway, it was just a sugestion. |
